In this guide we'll show you how to use Passkeys in Uniqkey to help secure and simplify your login safety!
Passkeys in Uniqkey works for any website or service that supports Passkeys - we will be using Github.com as our example in this guide.
Step 1. Add Passkey to your login
First, login to your desired service or websites security panel. This is often where you would normally manage changes to your logins acount credentials, such as password changes.
If your desired service or website supports Passkeys, here you should be met with the option to "Add Passkey".
Click "Add Passkey"
Once Uniqkey scans and realizes you are adding a Passkey, Uniqkey will prompt you with a drop down menu.
Here you will need to specify which account you're trying to add the Passkey to, once you have chosen the correct account, open and unlock your Uniqkey App to finalize the Passkey creation.
Step 2. Login using Passkeys
To sign in using an already set up Passkey in Uniqkey:
Navigate to your service or websites log in page - if Uniqkey detects a Passkey for the website, it will prompt you with a drop down menu showcasing your Passkeys.
Click on the needed account login's Passkey and it will sign you in to your desired website.
