This guide will show you how to import your logins and organize them into folders for company and private use.

Step 1: Open Uniqkey Extension

Note: Step 1 instructions will either be marked by Orange (Fullscreen mode) or Blue (Extension mode)

Open the Uniqkey extension and access settings. This can be done either by clicking the 'Fullscreen' icon or directly by clicking the 'Settings' icon.

Go to the settings menu.

Click on ‘Import logins’.

Step 2: Select Logins

Select the File with Logins to Import - Click to choose the password file from your system or drag and drop it into the designated area.

Ensure the fields from your CSV file match the import fields in the Uniqkey extension.

You can adjust mappings as needed to align with your password file.

Click 'Confirm' to continue.

Step 3: Review Your Logins

Browse through the list of passwords Uniqkey found.

Check the "Logins with errors" or "Duplicate logins" tabs for any issues.

  •
    • Logins with errors indicates if there are any logins with missing data etc.
    • Duplicate logins indicates if there are any instances of the same login stored multiple times, it is recommended to delete duplicates for ease of use in the future.

Note: you need to remove all logins with errors in order to import passwords.

Filter through your logins to see if there are that shouldn't be categorized as work logins, e.g private accounts. You can use the 'Filter by username' feature to easily get an overview of emails/usernames used.

In the example below you will see how to categorize and seperate personal/private logins in to your Private Vault.

Click on the email/username which you would like to seperate from your Work Vault, press the 'Save in' button and by using the small arrows (noted in the picture below) place the logins in the Private Vault.

Step 4: Company Access and Private Logins

Logins saved under 'My Logins / Company Name' are accessible at your workplace.

  •
    • Your administrator can monitor activity on these websites.
      • Private logins are solely under your control.
      • These logins will remain accessible to you even if you leave the company.

Once your logins are organized in the correct folders, click 'Import Logins' to proceed.

Open the Uniqkey 2.0 app on your phone.

Accept the request to import passwords.

Wait while all logins are securely saved in Uniqkey.

When the status turns to ‘Completed’, press the ‘Continue’ button.
