Promote to admin

Uniqkey is a zero-knowledge solution, which means that if all administrators lose access to Uniqkey, our Support team has no way of recovering the data.

We recommend having at least 2 admins in your organisation at all times.

Manage your employees in the Uniqkey Admin Portal -> Organisation -> Employees here.

Make another user admin

Only active users can receive admin rights.

Find the user on the list of Employees, and click their name.

Toggle the "Admin" setting on and open your Uniqkey mobile app to approve.

Allow partner access

If you use Uniqkey through an IT partner, you can allow them to access your admin portal without being a permanent part of your Uniqkey organisation.

The partner needs to request access via the Uniqkey Partner Portal here.

If they don't have access to the Partner Portal, they can reach out to support@uniqkey.eu for assistance.

Go to the Organisations tab -> find your organisation -> click "Request Access".

A request will appear in your Uniqkey admin portal. To approve it, go to to Access and Security -> Requests and Approvals -> Partner access requests.

The partner user now has access to your Uniqkey admin portal via the "Go to Admin Portal", and can assist when needed.

In case of emergency

If all admins in your Uniqkey organisation lose access (for example, if they forget their master password), please reach out to support@uniqkey.eu.

We're unable to gain access to your organisation or promote another user to admin, but we can help you preserve as much data as possible.
