Welcome to Uniqkey! If you have received an invitation to join an organisation, this guide will help guide you through how to activate your account and get set up.

How to activate your account

• Step 1: Open the Uniqkey invitation email and click “Activate my account”

  

  Step 2: Install the Uniqkey browser extension
  Your default browser will open a new window. If the Uniqkey browser extension is already installed, continue to step 3. 
  
  The Uniqkey browser extension must now be installed – click the link to be redirected to your browser’s extension store.
  Click the button to install the extension. Depending on the browser, it may be called “Get”, “Add to browser”, or something similar.
  
  After the installation is complete, you will be asked to create a "Master Password". As seen below, certain requirements have to be met when creating a Master Password. Follow the on-screen instructions, as the boxes will be checked when requirement is met.

  

  Step 3. Download the Uniqkey Mobile App
  On screen you will notice a QR code that, when scanned with your phone's camera, will open up the App Store.

  
  Step 4. Pair with Mobile App
  When the app is installed, proceed to your PCs browser and press "I have installed the app".
  Using the Uniqkey App, scan the green QR code that is shown on your PCs browser - this will automatically connect the app to the browser extension. Alternatively, you can connect your app manually with the "Use a one-time code" on screen.

  
  
  The app will ask you to create a 6 digit passcode - this passcode will be your login to the Uniqkey App. Additionally, the app will ask if you are interested in using biometrics as an extra safety measure. Click allow notifications. 
   

  Congratulations! Your Uniqkey app is now successfully paired with your browser.

• Step 1: Open the Uniqkey invitation email and click “Activate my account”

  

  Step 2: Install the Uniqkey browser extension
  Your default browser will open a new window. If the Uniqkey browser extension is already installed, continue to step 3. 
  
  Click the button to install the extension. Depending on the browser, it will be named “Get”, “Add to browser”, or something similar. 

  After the installation is complete, you will be asked to create a "Master Password". As seen below, certain requirements have to be met when creating a Master Password. Follow the on-screen instructions, as the boxes will be checked when requirement is met.

  

  Congratulations! Your Uniqkey account is now up and running.

• Step 1: Open the Uniqkey invitation email and click “Activate my account”

  
  
  Your default browser will open a new window - click on the SSO button.
  Your account has now been created and is active.
