How to enable Trusted Browser

In this guide we will go over how Trusted Browser can improve your Uniqkey experience as a user and how it works.

What is Trusted Browser and how to configure it

Enabling the "trusted browser" feature allows you to temporarily store data in their browser extension, and skip the approval in the Uniqkey mobile app.

How to turn on Trusted Browser

  • Open the Uniqkey browser extension and click the gear icon
    Click Settings
Click Trusted Browser at the top
Enable the "Trust browser on initial login" setting
    Select the desired time period
Click the "Send request" button at the bottom of the page
Confirm the request in your Uniqkey mobile app

Logins affected by this feature will be marked with a green outline in the Uniqkey browser extension.

Some logins might still require approval in the mobile app depending on certain group restrictions set by Administrators.

  • Trusted browser can also be activated through the browser extensions drop-down menu.
Click on the Uniqkey Browser Extension and to activate click on the 'shield'-icon.
Open your Uniqkey mobile app and accept the request.
