Configure trusted browser

Enabling the "trusted browser" feature allows users to temporarily store data in their browser extension, and skip the approval in the Uniqkey mobile app.

 

You can select the allowed time period and create restrictions to define when employees can use it.

Manage your settings for trusted browser via the Uniqkey Admin Portal -> Settings -> Security settings -> Governance -> scroll down to Device and Session assurance.

Setup on behalf of employees (recommended)

Setting up trusted browser on behalf of your employees will allow them to use the feature without having to enable it themselves. Instead, they only receive a prompt in their Uniqkey mobile app once per chosen time period.

Note that Trusted Browser needs to be allowed for each group.

Enable the Set up Trusted Browser on behalf of employees setting.

Use the Set Trusted Browser duration setting to decide how often employees need to approve in their Uniqkey mobile app.

Enabling the Allow users to change the default Trusted Browser setting toggle will allow employees to change the time period (max 24 hours).
