Deploy Uniqkey via Intune

Uniqkey can be deployed using standard deployment methods. If your organisation uses a different MDM platform, refer to their documentation for further assistance.

Deployment can be managed via Microsoft Intune here.

Mobile app

• Create an Android app via Apps -> Platforms -> Android.
  
  Category is Store app.
  App type depends on your preference.
  
  
  
  For Android Store app, use the URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uniqkey.mobile.next
  
  For Managed Google Play app, find the Uniqkey app and click Select and then Sync.
  No confirmation is shown after syncing, but the app will be visible after a few minutes.
  
  
  
  When the app is available, click it to manage the settings.
  
  Click the Properties tab.
  Edit the Assignments to fit your preferences.
  
  Review the app and click Create to save.
  
  
  
   
• Create a new iOS app via Apps -> Platforms -> iOS/iPadOS.
  
  App type is iOS store app.
  
  
  
  Click Select app, find the Uniqkey app, and Select it.
  Note: while the applicable device type supports both iOS and iPadOS, Uniqkey is not optimised to run on iPads and may cause UI issues.
  
  
  
  Decide the Assignments.
  
  
  
  Review the app and click Create to finish.
   

Browser extension (Windows)

• Create a Configuration policy via Devices -> Manage devices -> Configuration.
  
  Platform is Windows 10 and later.
  Profile type is Settings catalog.
  
  
  
  Give the profile a name.
  
  Find the Microsoft Edge\Extensions category.
  
  Add the Configuration setting "Control which extensions are installed silently"
  Uniqkey supports both user and device context. Select the version that fits your setup. 
  Recommended is device.
  
  Enable the setting.
  Add the Uniqkey extension ID for Edge: cghalgafnnidajakoacnnekgkaifionm
  Click Next.
  
  
  
  
  Add Scope tags if you wish.
  Decide the Assignments.
  Click Next.
  
  Review the policy and click Create to finish.
   
• Create a Configuration policy via Devices -> Manage devices -> Configuration.
  
  Platform is Windows 10 and later.
  Profile type is Settings catalog.
  
  Give the profile a name.
  
  Find the Google Google Chrome Extensions category.
  
  Add the Configuration setting "Configure the list of force-installed apps and extensions"
  Uniqkey supports both user and device context. Select the version that fits your setup. Recommended is device.
  
  Enable the setting.
  Add the Uniqkey extension ID for Chrome: pfblclopmfndegcljgcjbhkpclhepeod
  Click Next.
  
  
  
  Add Scope tags if you wish.
  Decide the Assignments.
  Click Next.
  
  Review the policy and click Create to finish.

Browser extension (MAC)

• Create a Configuration policy via Devices -> Manage devices -> Configuration.
  
  Platform is macOS.
  Profile type is Settings catalog.
  
  
  
  Give the profile a name.
  
  Find the Microsoft Edge Apple category.
  
  Add the Configuration setting "Control which extensions are installed silently"
  
  Add the Uniqkey extension ID for Edge: cghalgafnnidajakoacnnekgkaifionm
  Click Next.
  
  
  
  Add Scope tags if you wish.
  Decide the Assignments.
  Click Next.
  
  Review the policy and click Create to finish.

Desktop app

• The Uniqkey desktop app is only available for Windows and in .msi format.
  
  Get the latest version via our website here.
  
  In Microsoft Intune, create a new app for the platform Windows.
  App type is Line-of-business app.
  Click Select.
  
  
  
  Select the "uniqkey-desktop-production.msi" file.
  Click Next.
  
  
  
  Add any additional information if you wish. 
  To install the app silently, no additional commands are necessary.
   
  Decide the Assignments.
  Click Next.
  
  Review the app and click Create to finish.
