Welcome to Uniqkey! In this guide we will go through how to activate your partner account.
Step 1. The Partner Portal
You will have received a 'partner email' from us at Uniqkey.
Locate and open this email in your inbox - this email contains your username (your email) and a temporary login.
Click on the 'Login link' shown in the bottom of the email - this will take your to the Partner Portal login page.
Step 2. Creating, saving and setting up 2FA
Enter the information provided in the email, this is both your email and temporary password. Then proceed to press 'Log in'. Uniqkey will prompt you with a pop-up window asking to save your login to your keychain, it is important that you remember to click 'save' to add the login.
After clicking 'Log in' the Partner Portal will ask you to set up a permanent password. Use Uniqkey to help you create a secure password by clicking the Uniqkey-icon and utilizing the built in Uniqkey Password Generator. After letting Uniqkey create your password, click 'Confirm'.
Uniqkey will prompt you with a pop-up window, remember to click 'Save' and open your Uniqkey phone app to confirm the login's password update.
The Partner Portal will now show you a QR code on screen - this QR code is to set up automatic 2FA autofilling when logging in to the Partner Portal using Uniqkey.
To add this automation, navigate to your Uniqkey phone app, click on the Partner Portal-login that you saved earlier, press the 'Set up 2FA' button and proceed to scan the QR code on your PC screen.
Your app will now display the 2FA code - fill in the code into the 'verification' field shown on the Partner Portal-site to finalize your account activation.
Congratulations! Your Partner Portal account is now activated.
